Everyone deserves a safe, stable place to call home. Through our affordable housing programs, we connect individuals and families with the resources and support they need to secure quality housing — because a strong foundation starts with a roof overhead.

About Our Affordable Housing Initiative

At Making Opportunity Count, we believe stable housing is the foundation for everything — from a child’s success in school to a family’s path toward economic security. Our affordable housing initiative is focused on expanding access to safe, quality housing for individuals and families across North Central Massachusetts through new development, community partnerships, and wraparound support services.

Housing isn’t just about four walls and a roof. It’s about dignity, and giving families the secure base they need to pursue employment, access education, and build toward independence. That’s why our approach goes beyond construction — we pair affordable housing with the comprehensive support services M.O.C. has been known for over the past 60 years.

Whether helping a family transition from shelter into a permanent home or building new affordable units alongside local partners, our goal is always the same: eliminate barriers and create opportunities for all.
