At Making Opportunity Count, we believe that youth, teens, and young adults are at a critical point in their lives—a time to build skills, confidence, and a strong sense of direction for the future. Our Youth Services provide programs that help develop essential life and career skills while fostering growth, leadership, and resilience. We are committed to supporting young people with the tools, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive.
Our Services
Youth Innovation Center
A space for youth to explore technology, arts, leadership, and personal growth. Through hands-on learning and mentorship, young people build skills, express creativity, and gain confidence in a supportive environment.
Afterschool & Summer Camp
Safe, enriching environments that promote creativity, learning, and social skills. Youth participate in engaging activities that support development, build friendships, and encourage curiosity outside of the classroom.
Adolescent Sexuality Education
Evidence-based, age-appropriate education that supports healthy and informed choices. Programs provide accurate information, build confidence, and encourage respectful decision-making in a supportive setting.
Teen Summer Employment
Paid opportunities that provide valuable job skills, experience, and career readiness. Participants gain hands-on work experience, develop responsibility, and build a strong foundation for future employment.
