Secure Jobs Initiative

Helping families achieve lasting stability through employment. The Secure Jobs Initiative connects parents with job training, education, career coaching, and support services—removing barriers to work and opening pathways to economic independence.

About The Secure Jobs Initiative

At Making Opportunity Count, the Secure Jobs Initiative supports parents who are receiving housing assistance by helping them train, obtain and maintain employment.

The program blends workforce development with family support—offering job readiness training, individualized career coaching, and connections to wraparound services like childcare and transportation. By addressing barriers that often keep families out of the workforce, Secure Jobs helps parents build stable careers and achieve long-term self-sufficiency.
