Payment & Insurance
Reproductive Health Services accepts most major insurance plans, including commercial insurance and MassHealth. Co-pays, coinsurance, and deductibles may apply and are due at the time of service.
If you do not have insurance, services are offered on a sliding fee scale based on household income. Many services may be provided at little or no cost.
No one is turned away due to inability to pay. If cost is a concern, please talk with our staff—we’ll work with you to find an option that meets your needs.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a parent to come in if I’m under 18?
No. Once you come in, you’re in charge of your own health decisions. You don’t need a parent’s permission or insurance to access services, but you’re welcome to bring a trusted adult if that makes you feel more comfortable. Your privacy is always respected.
What types of birth control do you offer?
We offer a wide variety of options including pills, IUDs, implants, patches, shots, condoms, and emergency contraception. Staff will talk with you about what might work best for your lifestyle and health, answer questions, and help you get started—often the same day.
Do you offer prenatal or IVF services?
At this time, we do not provide ongoing prenatal care or IVF (in vitro fertilization) treatment. However, we’re happy to discuss your reproductive health needs, answer questions, and help connect you with the appropriate providers or resources when needed.
What if I don't have insurance?
We accept most insurance plans, including MassHealth. If you don’t have insurance, can’t afford care, or prefer not to use your insurance for privacy reasons, talk with us. We may be able to offer a sliding fee discount based on your income
Do you offer any transportation assistance?
Yes, transportation assistance may be available for eligible patients. We believe everyone deserves access to care and will work with you to find the best option.
Are my visits confidential?
Yes. We know privacy matters. Many of our services can be provided confidentially, including services for teens. If you’re a teen and have questions about confidential services, just ask—we’ll explain your options. If you have questions about privacy, insurance, or who can see your information, our team will help you understand your choices so you can feel comfortable getting the care you need.
