Emergency Assistance

Short-term financial assistance for families and individuals in crisis. Emergency Assistance helps cover essential expenses like rent, utilities, or other urgent needs—preventing hardship and keeping households stable.

About Emergency Assistance

At Making Opportunity Count, our Emergency Assistance program helps families and individuals facing unexpected financial crises. Whether it’s avoiding a utility shut-off, covering a rent payment, or paying for another critical expense, the program provides short-term relief that can prevent homelessness and financial instability.

Emergency Assistance is designed to be flexible and responsive. By addressing urgent needs, we help households stay safe, secure, and connected to the resources they need to regain stability.
