At Making Opportunity Count, our North Central WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) program helps families thrive by providing nutritious foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and referrals to healthcare and social services.
WIC is a free program for income-eligible pregnant and postpartum women, foster children, infants, and children under age 5. Our team provides compassionate, personalized support to ensure families have the resources they need for healthy growth and development.

How do I know if I qualify for WIC?

Is WIC only for mothers?
No. WIC is for pregnant women, postpartum women, fathers, guardians, and foster parents of eligible children under 5.
What types of foods are included?
Fruits, vegetables, milk, eggs, whole grains, infant formula, baby foods, supplemental food, and more. Packages are customized to your family’s needs.
Do I have to pay for WIC?
No. WIC is a free program for eligible families.

Location Information
The North Central WIC office coordinates nutrition benefits, breastfeeding support, and family resources for eligible women, infants, and children. With many convenient locations across the region, families can call the Main Site to learn each location’s hours. The Main Site can also book appointments for all sites.
