Each year, Making Opportunity Count’s Annual Report reflects the people, progress, and possibilities that define our work. Last year, over 900 children improved their cognitive, social, and emotional development through Child Care and Head Start.
Last year, almost 8,000 women, infants, and children were supported through North Central WIC nutrition services.
Last year, over 750 family members received case management, information, referrals, and parenting education through the Family Resource Center.
27 youth built job skills and increased earnings through Summer Youth Works, while 105 adults facing housing instability took steps toward employment with support and guidance.
76 individuals received ongoing care and support through CARE AIDS programs.
65 individuals and families maintained stable housing through supportive housing and HOPWA services.
69 individuals received medically tailored meals to support their health and well-being.
40 parents strengthened their role as their child’s first teacher through home visits, playgroups, and early learning support.
910 community members accessed mental health services, taking steps toward healing and stability.
10,521 volunteer hours powered our work, including 4,228 hours contributed by community members who know firsthand the impact of giving back.
